Géraldine Sartin est née à Paris en 1964. Lectrice au long cours, après des études de chinois, journaliste indépendante à Londres (BBC radio), Bangkok puis, à Paris, attachée à InfoMatin, L’Humanité, Les Échos. A travaillé dans l’édition (Daniel Radford Bibliophane). Elle a été assistante d’un avocat d’affaires et plongeuse chez Starbucks. Diagnostiquée d’une myopathie, vit à Strasbourg, où elle peint et écrit.
